Beth Wenstrom

Beth Wenstrom is a violin performer and pedagogue based in New York City. Her chamber music performances have been described by The New Yorker as “elegant and sensual, stylishly wild.” Her “easy grace and light bravura” graces stages from Memphis, Tennessee to Brattleboro, Vermont to Phoenix, Arizona and Bordeaux, France. Beth is a founding member of Wayward Sisters, winner of the 2011 Early Music America/Naxos Competition as well as an original member of the “eclectic and electrifying early-music ensemble,” ACRONYM (Boston Globe), and performs regularly with many groups throughout the country and abroad. A graduate of Oberlin Conservatory and The Juilliard School, Beth has taught and coached at Oberlin Conservatory, SUNY Stony Brook and Rutgers University. (full bio)
